description: The Striders are hosting this event in Verulamium Park on Saturday October 14th. Whilst we need a good turn out of runners from the club to take part in the races, we also require a number of helpers and marshals before and during the event to assist with the race organisation. The first race takes place at 1.30 p.m. with a 3K for U13 boys and U15 girls, followed by a 6K at 1.50 for U15 and U17 men and at 1.55 the 6K for U17, U20 and Senior Women will start. The last race will be the 8K for U20 and Senior Men starting at 2.25 p.m. If you are available either before the race to assist with laying the course or are able to help with marshalling for some or all of the races then please contact me at carolinemalkinson@hotmail.com.

description: Run with the real men (and ladies)! Next Met league cross-country is at Claybury (Woodford Green). Women's race (6 or 7km) at 13:45, Men's race (8km) at 14:15. Venue is off Roding Lane North (check A to Z, Streetmap.co.uk etc). Parking at Ashton Playing Field (off Waltham Road nearby), but there are other places to park nearby unofficially.
